Travel & Accommodation

Flying In

Fly directly into Josep Tarradellas Barcelona-El Prat Airport (BCN), the city's main international hub. It's well-connected by several express and public transport options:

  • Aerobús: express shuttle to Plaça Espanya or Plaça Catalunya. High-frequency (every 5-10 mins) and very convenient.
  • Train (R2 Nord): Fast and economical, stops at Sants or Passeig de Gràcia. Note: station is at Terminal 2 only.
  • Metro (L9 Sud): Connects both terminals to the wider network. Take the L9S into Barcelona, where you can change at either Torrassa (for L1), Collblanc (for L5), or Zona Universitària (for L3).

Planning to arrive a day or two early, or stay on after the wedding? Let us know - we'll be organising extra meals and small activities in and around the city and would love you to join us.

Getting to the Wedding

We intend to organise transport to and from the wedding venue on the day, departing from a central meet-up point in Barcelona (details to follow closer to the time).

If you are staying outside of Barcelona please note you will need to arrange your own transport to the venue - Masia Mas Coll in Alella. Taxi options will be available. We recommend booking in advance.

Getting Around

Metro & Bus

The TMB network is excellent. Pick up a T-casual card (€13.00 for 1 zone) for 10 journeys across all metro and bus lines.

Taxis & Ride Apps

Taxis are plentiful (look for the green light). For on-demand apps, we recommend Cabify, FreeNow, or Uber.

Where We're Based

Our apartment is in El Raval, a lively, eclectic neighbourhood in the heart of the old city, and less than 100 metres from the iconic Mercat de la Boqueria and the famous La Rambla boulevard.

Where to Stay

We encourage guests to book accommodation in either Barcelona (city), Badalona, or Alella. Bear in mind, organised transport to and from the wedding will only connect to Barcelona.

Barcelona is highly walkable and easy to navigate, so you can stay practically anywhere in the city. Our favourite neighbourhoods include El Raval, Sant Antoni, Poble Sec, Gràcia, and Poble Nou.

If you wish to stay somewhere more tranquil and close to the wedding, there is a hotel in Alella. The venue may be able to secure a discount - let us know if you are interested.
